Five Effective Tools for Social Media Marketing

There are many Social Media Management Tools which you can use to help you be more productive with your social media presence. In this blog we will be exploring five free tools which you help you.

Tool 1 – Scheduling Tools

Social Media Scheduling

There are many Scheduling Software that you can use to help you schedule posts in the future, this enables you to continue with your business operations, and will enable you to take a few minutes out of your day to schedule a few posts. The scheduling software that I recommend is Buffer which has an easy user interface and enables you to schedule posts. The free version enables you to schedule 10 posts at a time and have three social media accounts, there is also a paid version of Buffer if you require more accounts or to schedule more than 10 posts at a time. Buffer also has a great plugin for Internet Browsers (currently only available for Google Chrome and Firefox) this plugin enables you to schedule content which you have found while online.

Tool 2 – Twitter Lists

Twitter Lists

Twitter Lists enables you to follow your competitors without them knowing you are following them. You can also use Twitter Lists to see posts from select Twitter profiles. You can find Twitter Lists.

Tool 3 – Content Design

Social Media Content

Canva is a great tool which will enable you to create content which you can post on your social media pages. Canva is an online tool which enables you to create content to specific sizes which will enable the content to be compatible with social media networks. For example there is a size template which enables you to have the correct size Facebook Cover Image. You can find Canva at: www.canva.com

Tool 4 – Finding Content

Searching for Content

There are many tools that you can use to find content to post on your social media platforms. The tools I use are Scoop.it and Feedly which both enable you to find content by topic and to create topic boards so that you can follow specific blogs and content sources so that you can easily find content to post on your social media.

Tool 5 – Google Keep

Google Keep

Google Keep is a great software which has a Chrome extension which enables you to save content and websites you have found online, this can help you when using Buffer’s free version as you can save content on Google Keep and then schedule them later on Buffer. You can find Google Keep here
